Web Application, Mobile Application

The customer.

Lanaudière-based company, OClair Environnement, owner of the Ceto platform, works for the protection of public health and the environment. Stemming from a need for structure in the field of water and contaminant management, it develops unique computerized tools to make the work of stakeholders easier. In fact, we developed the Nerri platform in 2017 to optimize the work of all stakeholders responsible for wastewater management.

The project.

Towards the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, a partnership between Oclair Environnement and the group of university researchers CentrEau was born by joining forces with a private consortium. Their goal is to detect COVID-19 in wastewater and visualize the data in the most optimal way possible.

The issue.

During the sampling process, researchers do not have a common place to integrate their data and then share it with government authorities. This becomes problematic in terms of communication and can lead to a waste of time.

The solution.

In order to address this issue, we have developed the epidemiological platform, CETo. The application allows tracking of analysis results from wastewater, nasal swabs, saliva tests, surface samples, and animal samples. Following these results, public health recommendations and actions as well as those of government authorities can be tailored according to the needs of the targeted area.

Tracking of collected samples.

With the help of the mobile application, technicians on site can easily enter new samples into the platform, each with an associated QR code. This QR code will allow laboratory personnel to track the history of received samples and ensure that the cold chain has been respected.

Entry of laboratory analysis data.

Once the samples are collected, the analysis results are entered, particularly the virus concentration in the sample. Then, the management of aliquots and pooled samples can be carried out.

Visualization of virus trends by geographical area.

An important feature of CETo is that once the data is entered, graphs showing the increase or decrease of the virus over time for specific geographical areas are generated. These graphs help public health and government authorities make decisions and predict outbreaks by detecting them 5 to 7 days in advance. Furthermore, tracking comparisons with the increase in daily cases can be done to confirm the results.

Automatic data import.

The application facilitates the integration of data on the platform. It is also possible to import data in a spreadsheet format recognized in America and Europe, allowing for easy integration of new client databases into the platform.

The results.

Improve communication between stakeholders
Increase the efficiency of resource deployment.
Prevents outbreaks and protects the population.
"The Recursyve team takes my projects to heart as much as I do. Among their qualities, listening to the client, understanding their needs, and validating upcoming development stages. A good business attitude and a good team are good indicators of future success. I do not hesitate to highly recommend the services of Recursyve, Brandon, and his team."
